Would you prefer that he spends more of the money we don't have on another war?

If it means stopping Iran, who may have ties or may even directly help terrorist organizations for harming free countries then yes.
I'm not a die hard right-wing conservative btw. I'm actually a Libertarian. Figured I'd share that before you all jumped to conclusions.
who gives a shit the US has so many fucking nukes it doesnt even matter. lets face it, if nuclear war happens its going to last about 20 minutes and the whole world is going to be fried. i say we hold a worldwide competition of who can build the most nukes then start shooting them all at the sun and see what happens.

Funny part is, if we did topple the Iranian goverment, it would have a huge impact on the middle east. Seeing as Iran is the biggest supporter with money, weapons, training and political backing for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Sadrist Shi'ite movement in Iraq, Shi'ite rebels in Yeman and some armed groups attacking American and Pakistani forces in the Afghan conflict. If all that dried up, you'd see those groups take a HUGE blow and probably collapse in short order. Even Syria, who is the only Sunni arab goverment in the middle east that is an open ally of Iran, would take a hit because of how deeply in bed they are with the Iranians right now.
I'm not saying we should, I'm just saying out of all the countries in that region, Iran would have the biggest impact on middle eastern geopoltics.

The really funny part is we did topple Iran. We made Iran what it is today, and you can thank Kermit Roosevelt's CIA for that one.
However, if we do have nuclear war, can we make the part after the dust settles be like Fist of the North Star?

You are correct, sir. Just goes to show that even coups can be massive clusterfucks.
And anything that involves nuclear holocausts should end up just like Fist of the North Star.

No, I'd prefer to get the fuck out of Afghanistan and Iraq. We lost some 3000 people in the Sept 11th attacks. We've lost FAR MORE of our sons and daughters in the ensuing war, and have come no closer to stopping terrorism, taliban, or bin laden.
Nuclear armament is a REAL threat. Lets concentrate on something that can garner RESULTS. Nuclear facilities can't run and hide underground when you try to bomb them.
Learn to quote, don't make it look like your conspiracy shit look like it came out of my mouth.

I'd learn to quote but I was dumbfounded how ignorant everybody is to the fact that the Bin Laden family had intimate ties with the Bush Family for years, up until the day of 9/11 - which, mind you, Bush Sr. and Bin Laden's brother were meeting at white house during the attacks.
He was trained in America and was heavily involved with the CIA for a number of years.
look it up people, don't believe mainstream media outlets

but there's no sense in dabbling the "conspiracy" shit in here; you guys can believe what you want to believe. just try to think outside the box on things and understand the global agenda. that's my 2 cents in this thread, although I was the one who started it. good days sirs!
I just don't know what to believe anymore. About anything
Exactly where you WANT to be. Hear everything. Read everything. Believe none of it. You will see that many truths can exist at once. Is there corruption in govt.? Indeed. Is it all corrupt? Not all, there are still some that are truly righteous. Might there be aliens? Yar! Does that mean everyone that believes/sees aliens is telling the truth? Nope.
You just seem to be sucked really really deep into this stuff, and take a lot of the group conspiracy malarky greatly to heart. It's frustrating when it comes from such an otherwise intelligent guy.

Without the human mind, truth is irrelevant, and only with multiple truths could your two extremes even exist.
Or in other words, eat dick you stupid hick.

When I read more into monetary policy and federal reserve corruption (i work in the fed as well), I'm 100% convinced this country has been hijacked by world bankers and and elite individuals, and also think the whole 9/11 issue is extremely sketchy.
This world is extremely corrupt, and America is right in the middle of it. I just wish we had some sort of reawakening or some sort, or new identity. There's too much going on in world relations, and too much going on behind closed doors. We are living in a demise of human civilization.
War is inevitable. It is the health of the state. What we seem to forget is how we got out of every other major depression and economic down turn
First stock market, we fixed it with ww1
Second stock market crash/depression. We fixed it with ww2
the slight depression of the 80s ended with the iraq war
now our current trend is putting us on a road to industrialization and the mobilization of a work force that only war could fuel to end this current downturn.
so yeah, look forward to either joining the army or building ships and tanks.

I'm not sure if you know it, but that was my point.... not that we shouldn't go into Iran because we have to STAY in Afgan/Iraq, but more that we should get out of all three. Focus on bombing nuke facilities, and spend all the extra money/time/resources we get from NOT invading 3rd world countries on actually having effective border security, and on the the forces we already have getting the resources that they so desperately need.

Bottom line is we need to spend more money within our own borders. This country is falling apart. I mean look at Japan's transit system compared to America's. Japan is suffering from their worst financial crisis (Post WWII) ever - hence why they now have a new party leading the government as of 3 weeks ago. The new party is more pro-Japan and less USA-dependent. They've spent more money on things like transit and education than the US. Their students are learning calculus before the age of 15.
That being said, the dollar is dying.
In case you guys didn't notice, part of the main discussion of the G20 summit was about this.
I'm not going to argue any more "conspiracy" theories on this thread, but if you take a good hard look at all the facts, it is evident that we are leaning towards a new world order and money system; as they boldly displayed by Dimitri Medvedev earlier this year:
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aeFVNYQpByU4
And if that doesn't work out - be prepared to see the Amero in the coming years. All of this is part of the master plan of the WORLD BANKING ELITE.
Private firms, investors, and corporate oligarchs are creating your money, and are moving towards a more global unified currency. No one really realizes this because Paris Hilton is more important.

bah, too bad that video isn't working anymore. it was the Chinese news talking about this. what we hear here in america is quite different.

Also, note how much military spending America has compared to the rest of the world. Quite dominating if you think about it.
Notice that Iran isn't even on the list here. They're in the 20s.
Then you've got the bailouts we did early this year... and then when you realize that the Federal reserve has taken nearly 20 Trillion dollars and given it to foreign investors and banks, the military expenditure pales in comparison.
Fucked up world we're living in. We need to overthrow these banking scumbags running the world!
