New site? Maybe some day.
Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ" and new Deicide release in the same week. Hmm. |
hahahahah jesus was white?
nope, sources say he was black.... metal |
i'll probably trip and watch the movie and scare all the old people who think it's a "touching experince" |
Of course Jesus looked like Mel Gibson....
In Jesus's time they had all sorts of things like, showers, shaving razors, weight lifting machines..... and Jesus HAD to be good looking.
i want to see a movie where jesus looks skinny, ugly, dirty, unshaven. it would actually make more sense considering he was born in a barn. |
mel gibson does not play jesus. |
yea but wee...bink! keep in mind, jesus was pure. and pure people are always clean |
sometimes the reverend looks like jesus
i don't like those jesus sandals..aka tiva's or whatever they are called |
i'm so no interested in this movie... but
the new Deicide may catch my attention |
well, if it's between the movie and a blah CD, i'd still go for the blah CD |
You'd be better off with one of those little noise-makers that spin around and make a ratchety-click sound. |
Themses. |
I believe they were having a Wagner concert in . . . ISRAEL (that's right. Israel and Wagner.)
someone brought one of those into the concert hall and really went to town!
I wasn't there. But it sounded funny on NPR |

Hahahaha, completely shut down. Nice work morkul. |

I'm goin' at 4:30. Really, how gory can it be? I'm fresh from watching re-animator recently after all
I haven't seen "Caligula" yet though, I hear some of the prolonged torture scenes in this Passion rival that "film" |

please let me know how it was
i wanna know what you thought
my dad is gonna go with morkul to see it this weekend.
so my dad is gonna owe me a movie now. |
i think it is going to be a pretty good movie either way. you don't have to believe in shit, but a good movie is a good movie. |
i heard a bit on NPR about someone watching the movie and then having to go to the hospital..
i gotta find it |
they said people here were weeping and some had to seek counseling or something like that. i think we heard almost the same report. |
people who freaked out and/or DIED (there's at least one casualty so far) don't go to enough movies.
there were a few cringe-worthy moments, a few that were actually pretty uplifting. I gotta write more in depth when I'm not trying to look busy at work.
I only checked my watch once during the movie. I did clap at the end though. I think Gibson's a noodge but he did a really good job. Despite already knowing the ending and after about two hours of using JC as a punching bag you're like OK, OK I get it already! Jeez (oops!)
blortch. Fuck the hype. Go see it. It's film history. I didn't find it anti-Semitic anymore than I found it anti-Roman (granted it goes deeper than that, especially if you're Jewish in Europe right now things are really getting out of hand with skinheads). |
yeah i heard that it was more anti roman than anti semetic |
oh, I didn't bother w/the new deicide BTW. I'll wait till it comes in the library (tee-hee) |
all the theaters have been sold out here
for this movie.... it's interesting that
someone actually died while seeing it. |
I went to an earlier show, there was hardly anyone there but then at 7 there was a line around the block.
then I went home and got drunk |
i saw the passion the morning of it's release and the theatre was PACKED with primarily old folk.
By the end of the movie, a good fourth of the theatre had either
A. started crying
B. left
or C. done both at the same time.
the movie was visually intense which i could understand people leaving for, but why leave me with middle aged men and women sitting down the aisle from me bawling?
why go to a movie like this if you KNOW it's going to upset you, and WHY do you still stick around to disrupt the rest of the audience with your futile crys of "this is horrible", "how dare he", "shamefull...", blahblahblahblah.
overall, i enjoyed the movie.
the acting was alright, and the makeup work was astounding.
haha, hide your kids eyes during the scourging scene. |

i wonder if aaron will want to see this... |
I want to see the new deicide cd, why?
caligula was so fucking horrid, it was great.
I think playboy made it. the fisting caligula ring thing rocked.
we made all the bible thumpers and gay-bashers in college watch all 12-hrs of that shit. |
just got back from passion of christ
it's pretty rough, even though i don't believe in christianity i feel for him
hahaha i hope i never see that movie again |
it's not the sort of movie you need to see twice
except in church i guess |
no aaron...i was wondering if you wanted to see what the hype was about..
