My wife got this for her birthday. The thing tells me I'm obese -- bullshit, I have a small beer belly, but I am not a fatty. I think the BMI just takes height to weight ratio and does not take muscle-tone into account. Whatever, I will never use it.

It says right in the booklet that the BMI is just a gauge, that a lot of muscle weight will throw your result off when you're muscular.
