New site? Maybe some day.
I've had it since May and stopped using it a while ago. It was only used for about half a dozen gigs, and it was always transported in my SKB hardware case. It's in mint condition. My initial asking price is $160, but feel free to make an offer. I will accept any reasonable offers. Thanks.
PS. I can take pictures if you want, but I don't think there's a need. |
$140.
I also have some SKB cases for sale. 9x10, 14x16, and 18x22. All in excellent condition. |
Eliot has one of these. They're awesome. |
I can afford $80 if it's still for sale. Just blew a load on the Eliminator double pedal, so I'd like something close to it for the HH. |
I think you and Eliot sold me on the Eliminators. When I get some cash in my hands, I'm going to borrow Eliot's Eliminators for a practice as a final test drive, then buy a set of my own. Then I'll sell off my DW9002's. |
I'd sell mine but there are already pieces in need of repair, it's not worth the money. I might be able to get $200 for it as is, and that's less than half of what I paid for it. Thieves. Getting rid of all that Meinl stuff too. Can't believe I got sold on that shit. |
Why are you finally deciding to ditch all the Meinl stuff?
(And sorry to bring this thread off topic, but hey... at least I'm bumping it (if this hihat stand is still for sale, that is)) |
By the way. The lowest I will probably go is 110. |

Because it's very fragile, and for someone who beats the shit out of his drums (because I have no sense of restraint whatsoever, apparently,) it results in way more than your average amount of cracked cymbals. The Classics line is fairly sturdy, I've got no complaints there, but the Amun and GenerationX series' are both very thin, and can't withstand metal drumming. I'm literally sending back seven cymbals for repair or replacement, two of which (GenX) I've already had replaced once. The Thomas Lang/Johnny Rabb shit is all for in-house studio stuff, there's no way they could expect that shit to hold up in a live setting. I'm all set with trying to get endorsed or any of that bullshit, if I can get a stick endorsement, that's great, but I'm not going to buy one company's line of shit with as much gear as I use. I quit using that Meinl mega-bell ride and went back to using my Z-Mac, that thing's the nuts. Using all Meinl shit was a good idea in theory, all new shit under a 2 year warranty, all one company's stuff, easy to handle, but in the end it was honestly just me sacrificing what I truly wanted to hear for trying to make it look slick, which is a fucking gay approach, and I should have thought it through better. C'est la Vie I suppose. I'll re-outfit the kit with stuff that I like, hopefully starting with a nice new crisp set of hats, sooner or later.

P.S. MSD, we still on for TDP Sunday?

While I appreciate the update, I'll pass bro, but thanks for getting back to me either way.
I just figured I throw an offer out there, there's nothing all that wrong with the Iron Cobra HH stand I'm using, I just kinda wanted a matching set, haha. |
