Pfttt I'll be there to. |
would've gone to see Pelican aka stay awake. |
dont get me wrong, Opeth blows, but i'll be damned if Nevermore isnt brutal |
I highly doubt that nevermore has ever been called brutal, ever. |
well, I am now doing so...mark ths RTTP history books, FOO' |
I think that might be one of the best bills I've seen in awhile, I hope I have the cash for that concert. |
the drumming and guitarwork for nevermore is spot on
I still do like opeth, despite how uncool that is |
its not uncool to like Opeth, i just dont see what the hub-bub is about...just not my thing |
I like a lot of proggy stuff like Camel, who is a big influence on them...so it was cool to hear it combined with metal
mikael is a very "tasteful' soloist too, something you don't get out of a lot of metal guys, so I think that opens up the audience a bit |
"As the Drapery Falls" is a pretty sweet song, though |
I love OPETH, have since their 1st CD.
NEVERMORE are awesome too. |
opeth, along with katatonia, is still my favorite band. i don't care how many mallcore kids get into them, i still love them. nevermore is one of my favorite bands too. one of my favorite tours ever was the opeth/nevermore tour in 2001. both bands put on awesome shows. |
I gave up on KATATONIA after Discouraged Ones, but I like everything before that.
if i ever need to hear opeth, i just listen to still life. also seen them enough times to not feel a need to go again. |
That Blackwater Park song was pretty sweet, I didn't like that CD they put out that was all mellow shit... To bad Pelican isn't still on the bill with Nevermore and Opeth, I've wanted to check them out. |
I actually dug the mellow one more than the heavy one they put out alongside it...deliverance I thought was the weakest one so far...still good though |
I'm sooooooooooooo at this show!!! |
my aunts boyfreind looks like the singer from nevermore with s hort brown hair weird |
