I'd also recommend some more RAM or faster processor. Can't do much about changing HDD type in a dell, but the 7200rpm SATA should be fine. The only other thing you could do is buy a raptor unless something faster is out now, I haven't read my tech articles lately. Also, the GeForce 6800/GT/Ultra do have a hardware encoder on them named PureVideo but it actually costs money to buy the software to unlock it and take use of it. The article I read said the advantages bacilli weren't worth the money, though.
